I have to start start out with a disclaimer:I am pro~gun.I don't care if you own just a shotgun.A handgun.I don't care if you own a cache of automatic weapons.I don't care if you are into missile launchers.Hell....if you got some nuclear weapons...just how does that affect me?

We are all responsible adults,here.

But people,the rhetoric that we have a Constitutional right to bare arms only holds up if we are consistent in our love for America,it's whole Constitution and the love of the freedoms that go along with it.The laws were made for Americans,not Americans for the laws.

For instance,in the wake of untethered gun violence-as free peoples-to say that any discussion on how to stop such future attacks should not include curtailing our gun rights is a popular argument.'Guns don't kill people;people kill people', is a somewhat valid point.

But,then,by making the discussion about how to stop these bloody massacres all about not taking away our guns is not a very valid point at all.Is it?

This-by our own admission-is not about the weapons.It's about stopping this violence.

How do we stop loose cannons with itchy trigger fingers from gunning down Americans?

Sadly,the discussion hasn't gotten to this point just yet.

Certain factions are making sure that we are still on the NRA talking point that owning guns is a Second Amendment guarantee.

Come on people,think this through.

First off,Tea Partiers are big on saying our government guarantees that if we are unhappy with the way Washington is run that we have the right to tear it down and start all over again.The Tea party practically runs all of it's campaigns on this idea.

Second,what is it about the word 'amendment' you don't understand?

Just because it is an amendment to our Constitution doesn't mean we can't repeal it..ie..get rid of it!

I mean...we have done it before.

The United States Of America repealed the 18th Amendment of the Constitution with the 21st Amendment!

Why?

Because of the violence it created.

The violence!

So,if you believe they won't take away our guns because we have a right to them:WRONG!

What in our current political atmosphere or our previous history would even make you think or begin to believe this?

I know,I know..you'll say that I am mixing my apples and oranges.

I am taking what the Tea Party says and thinks out of context.

Nah.

I don't think so.

Take the Boston bombing as an example.Bombings done by an American citizen.

What exactly does the Tea Party believe,here and now?

If you are willing to just throw away all  the other Constitutional amendments 'willy~ nilly',than that probably means your true agenda is not American justice at all.

Especially if your reasons for pushing the gun violence discussion away from 'cure' to gun sales is already suspect.

According to this Gallop poll,91% of Americans support gun background checks.

This only makes sense.Wal*Mart sells a lot of guns.Wal*mart is also into tracking all of your purchases.

In fact,Wal*Mart is not the only giant retailer tracking our purchases.Target is also....something that makes Big Brother seem quaint.

But,somehow,just because Target is the liberal version of Wal*Mart ( it does not sell either guns nor ammo), that doesn't necessarily mean that Wal*Mart's personal purchasing tracking is any less affective.Somehow,I feel that Wal*Mart being Wal*Mart that just the opposite is true!

Thank God for friends being able to still sell guns to friends.Your major store purchases are already being tracked and in the machine.

Doesn't this almost make being against the government background checks a mute point?Or worse..hypocritical?

It's Okay for Wally World to access your gun information,but...

So,if 91% of Americans are for background checks,and most gun purchases are already being tracked,why would a bill to open a discussion about having a discussion  about gun violence be voted down by our USA senators?

This is why.All but three that voted no receive money from the NRA!

I am all for congressmen voting their conscience,but when they vote against  91 % of what their constituents believe because they receive money from a powerful lobby,I say that verges on treason!

TREASON!

If  our senators and congressmen only vote with their pocketbooks,then they are not representing the people:they are voting against the wishes of America!

Sure,it's only the NRA this time.

What if it's Saudi Arabia next time?

The Banks?

The Tea Party is creating the very thing they are complaining about!

To love America,it is right and true to believe in the whole of our Constitution.Not just the second Amendment,but the document as a whole.

Why?

Because our United States of America Constitution guarantees us our freedoms.

It is a proud document.

As our American flag waving proudly shouts out to the world our right to be free,so does the Constitution spell out these freedoms!

Frog Applause Is Dead

JESUS IS MY GUN

Greeting,my Face Book friends and family.I hope all is well with you.

I have been patiently waiting for someone holier than me to state this.Someone who has led his or her flock;fed the poor;visited the sick.Someone,by their Christ led actions,have made their opinions count for something.

For I am a sinner.I do none of these things.At best,I am lukewarm water.My voice does not carry nearly the magnitude needed for any opinion to truly matter.

But,I have waited long enough.I can not contain my voice any longer on this issue.I must shout my voice and hope  that someone-anyone-will listen.If no one else is going to say this:I must.

I ask your forgiveness for my vanity.

The issue of gun control in The United States of America is a dividing issue.Most people are afraid.Some want the continued right to bare arms.They find the American right to protect themselves with firearms,not just a Constitutional right,but,in reality,a modern necessity.Others feel that gun violence needs to be confronted.We have to do something to stop these mad loose cannons with trigger happy fingers from shooting our society apart.

I personally don't care where you stand on this issue.

But,this is my stance:

JESUS IS MY GUN.He is my sword,my shield,and my scabbard.If you build an army to defend yourself,and The Lord is not with you,you build in vain.If it is my fate to die a martyr for The Lord,I can know of no greater glory.I can only pray that I am up for the task.

For I tell you that I will love my enemy.If he wants my overcoat I will give him my jacket as well.

If The Lord is with me,who can be against me?

My faith is not in any weapon!God will be with me through many my trials and tribulations.Yea,thou I walk through the valley of death,I will fear no evil...for JESUS IS MY GUN.

Insane Gun Laws

Recent events have sort of dismayed me.Massacres of children are bad enough,but when a significant portion of the media,conglomerates,and just ordinary people in general dismiss and even worse downright downplay or justify this shameful act in order to keep their guns(weapons most of the American gun owners don't even legally own),I wonder if America's new sanity is insanity!

America tends to glorify violence and it's victims.The teacher gunned down at Sandy Hook being exemplified as a candidate for Time's Person Of The Year is a prime example.The shooter's bloody body count is another example of how we depersonalized these deaths and give them a sporting score quality(You just don't see abortion or drunk driver victims ever called heroes).

Bruce Willis',"Yippie-Kai-Yay, Motherfucker!"seems to be the new slogan for all of America and it's love of over the top violence.

The idea that even mentioning gun restrictions as an evil empire take away of our American freedoms-while a brilliant motif for the NRA and gun lover's everywhere-baffles our dialogue and makes the gradual dismissal of weapons of war deaths our shame.Thus-in my opinion- encouraging future American terrorists to multiply and exemplify the nasty business of bigger and more horrific body counts in the future.

The disingenuous NRA and their ilk claim the Bill Of Rights 2nd Amendment as their Constitutional  right to bare arms.They give this as the reason to ignore gun deaths:Because it's our Constitution guarantee.

But another Constitutional Amendment has been repealed.It's the 18th Amendment.The reason most people give for it's repeal is the violence and crime that was associated with it.

The NRA and their supporters claim that guns don't kill:people do.And,they are correct.Guns are used by killers/terrorists because they are the quickest most efficient means of killing.Why else would you use a gun?

But the NRA-again in my opinion-doesn't give a hoot about American law.They blame-through their back door sources-these very same massacres on the government.Though these allegations have generally been proven false, the proof is in the pudding,the NRA doesn't care one iota what our government or anyone else thinks.Everyone and thing else is at fault except for the guns.

Though,to be truthful,the glorification of weapons of mass destruction is not just a NRA thing.Hollywood,Madison Avenue-in fact,all forms of our American culture-kneel down and worship the false god that is our guns.What's granny afraid of?Absolutely nothing!Come out with guns a blazing.The only difference in the body count between the good guys and the bad guys in most Tv shows,books and movies is that the good guy's body count is usually higher.

The truth to the saying,"That they will only get my guns when they pry them from my cold dead fingers," has only ever been applied in the U.S. A. to these mass murdering American terrorists after they are found still holding onto their guns with their suicide bullet ridden bodies.

In truth,this drama over president Obama taking away hard working gun loving America's weapons can almost be seen as a ploy by both the NRA & the president as a way to sell more and more guns.Under our current president gun sales are way way up!

Except for the fact the the American public is being severely hoodwinked into higher and higher gun sales via the fear tactic of loss of Constitutional guarantees,it appears that just like under the last administration,President Obama doesn't appear to care how many Constitutional rights are waved in the vast conspiracy to curtail our civil rights so that imperialist corporations can have their way with us.

Illegal wiretaps,unjust wars,lost of freedom of speech and press.No one seems to care.Our Constitutional rights wave in the breeze and are one by one silenced with no one protesting the fact that they are gone.

In fact,media voices proclaim the justness of these actions as pro-American.

Most media sources quote our lack of fearing God for this apparent downfall and decay of the American ideal.Abortion,gay rights.Yet,here we are arguing against actions that could save further American children the sorrow of being victims of gun violence.

But how Jesus is this fondness of guns?Would Jesus shoot a criminal intruder in his house,or would he rather if they asked for his coat,give them his over coat as well?Would he point a .45 automatic at the criminal,or would he turn the other cheek?Would Jesus depend on the Constitution for deliverance or would he give to Caesar what was Caesar's,and give to God what was God's?Would Jesus come out guns a blazing against his enemies,or would he die passively on the cross?

America!Don't cry,Lord!Lord! For I don't think He knows thee!

I have spoken of this before.America is God's country.That is why we must have absolute freedom of religion.Americans must be free to believe (or not believe) as it so chooses.

Yet,our media,the whipping boy of the giant international conglomerates,teaches us that justice is only handed out by the end of a gun!That freedom isn't free.

That violence is the end all of all end alls just doesn't make Christian sense.It's insane to think otherwise.

Yep,it's the new America.The new sane is insanity.

I want to thank very American that has ever served our country.

Just Another Half Thought Out Idea...

Recently,I have been talking to folks on line saying that Obama= Romney.That they both are the same side of the same machine.They tell me that Obama is just as much a war president as Bush.They sight Libya as an unjust war.They question our President's motives.They say Rmoney would not be so hawkish.

I disagree.

Going into Libya may or may not have been a questional action,just like our actions or our inactions in Egypt and Syria,but the real debate is our reasons for our actions.There is debate-both for and against our actions on real meaningful levels.Iraq was a war started against most of the world’s wishes for no just cause…well..except maybe the avarice of war machine companies like the company formally known as Blackwater(still making money in Iraq),and oil companies such as Halliburton(still making money ),and a President with Daddy issues.

But since Rmoney agreed with Obama on every foreign policy issue,this point is moot,except Mitt-based on the unknown monies behind him-R~Money would probably get us into wars for all the wrong reasons.

The real telling difference to me-in my opinion-is this.Mitt and his little buddy,Paul Ryan,stand forever behind rape endorsers,but drops Christie for accepting help from Obama…ie..the Federal government.

This getting rid of Obama at any cost-even over helping rape & hurricane victims is totally repulsive to me.
Obama =Romney is not an equal choice.
Vote for president Obama!…..

Obama And The Ice Cold Pot

One of the major complaints from those that oppose President Obama is that he did not achieve what he said he was going to achieve.I know you've seen the commercials with the actors stating that they voted for Obama last time,but that he(Mr.Obama)has let them down.

And for this,I must say that the Republicans are making  good at doing what they set out to achieve:Making President Obama a one term president their number one priority.Of course,this wasted time and energy would have been better suited to helping rebuild America's economy.Instead-in mass-the Republicans decided to forgo actually helping their constituents,and  put all their eggs into the anti-Obama basket.

It is the classic Republican mis~leading agenda bait and switch propaganda lying  machine.The biggest lie is that the Republican party has a mind of it's own.It is more like the Borg.Resistance is futile.You see,the G.O.P. made an obvious mis~step:They owe their souls to the company store.Big business,now,owns them.At this point there is no buying their way out of it.The only way out,is to be ostracized,demonized,shunned..in other words..treated like a Democrat.

And these international conglomerate puppet masters first point of business is to get Obama out of office.

Deny his job bill the light of day,holding our credit rating hostage;if he says right go left;if he says the sky is blue-it's gray.Telling Americans that they don't need cradle to grave health care(all the while having it themselves)fighting over every little thing he's against.Dragging their feet;mis~leading facts and figures.Reputing science,disregarding the rights of women,etc.,etc.,etc., and so forth.

Democrat or Republican,you know this obstruction is true.

He's not American.Where's he birth certificate?He's Muslim.He wants to take our guns away.He's a socialist.And the one whispered the loudest:He's black.

Democrat or Republican,you know this outlandish propaganda shouting is out there.

It's America's own cold war.

So,when the Republicans and their big money king's PAC money shouts that Obama has not done what he has promised to do-it is precisely because they have done everything in their power to stop him from doing them.

Let me explain it this way.

Let me tell a little story.

Once upon a time there was a chef of a busy restaurant,whom,as a favor to his brother,hired his dim-witted nephew.One day,this chef made a great big pot of chili.After everyone was fed,he put the lid on the pot and decided to thriftily refrigerate what was left so he could reuse the leftover soup.Afterwords,his nephew,while pre~preparing food,saw the space the pot was taking up in the refrigerator,and needing the space,grabbed the chili and placed it in the freezer.

The next day,the chef was surprised to find his soup a totally frozen block inside of the pan.

It was best not to put any flame to it because it would not heat evenly that way.The bottom would get burned.The whole pot could be ruined.The chef decided the best way thaw this pot was to place it in the clean sink and then fill the sink with hot water.The chef then went on to do his normal daily cooking.

Meanwhile,the dimwitted nephew went to the sink to prepare food and then to clean up.Seeing the frozen pan in the sink,he lifted it out of the water and placed it back in the freezer."Hmmm,no damage done,"he thought,"still looks frozen to me."

To the chef's surprise,when he returned back to check on the pot of chili,the sink was full of dirty dishes,and not only wasn't the soup not thawing:it was back in the freezer.This time he placed it on a counter.It would be slower than the sink,but surely,with time,the whole pot would get to the place where he could with the proper techniques reheat it quickly and without waste.

Again,seeing the still frozen pot,the dim nephew reput it back into the freezer.

But this time,the chef saw his nephew,and asked him,"Why,oh,why do you keep putting the frozen pot back into the freezer?Can't you see I'm trying to warm it up?"

To which his brother's son replies,"But it's no good warm.It's supposed to be chili!"


The Republicans are acting like the dim witted nephew with the economy.They are blaming president Obama for the slow growth,when it was the Republicans that first put the economy in the freezer and the ones still putting it back into it.

An economy as bad off as ours was-for whomever took it out of the freezer-was going to take time to un~thaw.No matter how much heat you put to it.But with patience and persistence soon the watched pot would not only show signs of thawing,but within any time at all,start boiling.

The Republicans and their masters know this.And intentionally mis~lead the people that the recovery should have been instantaneous:That a frozen pot should instantly boil!

People,before you vote,you should be asking yourselves,"Why would our Republican leaders intentionally mis~lead us instead of lead us?

The answer is simple.You are not the ones they are trying to please.The ones they are trying to please are the same ones that are telling them to mis~lead you.

Compassion For The Rich

 I am going to quit picking on the Repubicans.If the gov’t ever ever decided to forgo their(the Repubs) tax breaks{Hey!their taxes are too high..the gov’t HAS to help them},some,if not all of these millionaires would lose their victim’s status…I know,I know…these rich are dependent on the government taking away taxes,and can’t survive if the government stopped this subsidy dependency,but think of the children…sure it’s vicious cycle…generation after generation of rich kids following in their parent’s footsteps..but without the government stepping in,and JUST HANDING THEM $$$ AFTER $$$ in tax cuts..how will they ever survive?!?
..that’s correct..the entitled elite may sound and look bad…but let’s not look at the children as no good dependent on government hand out 3rd or 4th generation victims .Let’s see these upper class as needing a hand up,not a hands out.
Forgoing the 1%‘s tax break in order to cut the deficit is just wrong.I just saw a Time magazine that showed a seven year old still sucking on his mother’s teet.You just can’t take away entitlement from children still sucking the teet at seven…you have to wean them off the teet slowly.
How about starting with getting these children Mercedes hard tops instead of convertibles?That’s a good start.
But,making them pay all their taxes?Come on..this is America!Have some compassion,will ya!?!

Why Mitt Romney Should Show His Tax Records,NOW!!!

I am the stereotypical blogger in the fact that I only have three readers...except for the fact that I don't even have three readers.I have been called the lowest form of Christian:a theologian;the lowest form of comic- a punster;but the truth is:I am the lowest form of journalist-in fact not even a journalist at all:I am a blogger!

But this doesn't  hinder the fact that people still demand simple standards from me.
In my virtually empty comments section,one of the few comments thrown upon me is that my blog would be better served if I showed my sources...gave proof to the pudding.

Yet,the Republican candidate running for president,Mitt Rmoney,doesn't seem to be bothered by the suggestion that he show his recipe for success as  relevant to his campaign or to the citizens he wants to elect him into office!

HA!Lowly 'ol me,I have to show my work and sources,but Mitt Rmoney,Republican candidate for president of The united States Of America,doesn't have to show his tax returns,or post blazes so people he wants to vote him can follow his money trail.

I am not necessarily saying what is good for the goose is good for the gander.But neither am I comparing apples to oranges.My need to quote sources is negated by the fact that I have very few if any readers...and the fact that if anyone would ever read my blog,the could openly ask me about my sources or Google them for themselves.The fact that I am blogging basically to myself does not mean that I should not be as truthful as possible.If only one person reads this,then that one person should be able to-at the very least-see that this is my opinion and why.They can comment on any errors and/or leave their own opinions.

This is not possible in the case of Mitt Rmoney and his Tax returns.AND HE'S RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT!

In my opinion,this is why this should matter.Mitt Rmoney is a devout Mormon.

How devout?That's where his tax returns come in.

Before I go any further,I have to ask:Am I being fair questioning Mitt Rmoney's faith?Does his faith have any reckoning on his running for commander in chief?Am I holding him to a higher standard not only to his opponent,but to all the other presidents throughout the history of U.S. presidential elections?

The first part of the question is easy.Though proven to be a Christian time and time again,president Obama is always being called with slanderous tongues a Muslim.The second is just as easy.JFK was constantly being asked whether his his Catholic faith would interfere with his presidential duties-what would he(JFK) do if there appeared a conflict of interest?

To his credit,John Fitzgerald Kennedy gave a great speech on this very subject.In It,he said,". I am the Democratic Party's candidate for president, who happens also to be a Catholic. I do not speak for my church on public matters, and the church does not speak for me."

Is it too far of a reach for Mitt Rmoney to make the same pledge?

JFK also said this:"But if the time should ever come — and I do not concede any conflict to be even remotely possible — when my office would require me to either violate my conscience or violate the national interest, then I would resign the office; and I hope any conscientious public servant would do the same."

Would it be asking any candidate for president too much to make this claim?Would/could Mitt Rmoney?

Here is why I ask.I have not seen Mitt Rmoney's tax returns.

Why is this important?

Because Mitt Rmoney is a devout Mormon.Because Mitt Rmoney is a devout Latter Day Saint with a family history closely entwined with the leadership of the Mormon church.

By some accounts ,devout Mitt Romney has tithed almost a quarter of a BILLION  dollars to the LDS church!And without tax returns..who knows...while it could be way less...it could also be way more!

You maybe asking so what?Don't allot of Christians tithe 10%?Isn't what Mitt Rmoney gives to his church between him and his church?I answer yes,I agree.It is.

Except...

...Except this proves his loyalty and commitment to his faith.

Is he just as loyal to his country?Not releasing his tax returns;having Cayman Islands shell game type tax evasion practices makes it appear that he does not have the same devotion to America as he does to his Mormon roots!

This is just the opposite of what John F. Kennedy pledged.

This is why I am for the separation of church and state!

"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.[Matthew 6:24]

By not showing his tax returns,Mitt Rmoney is being disingenuous.I find this personally troublesome.For instance:

According to Mitt Rmoney's own family history,when Utah became a state his family(prominent leaders in the LDS church)fled to Mexico to keep the polygamous practice of their faith alive at the insistence of their church.

In theory,this could lead to a conflict of interest for president Mitt Rmoney.If the leader and prophet of his church,Thomas S. Monson,told Mitt Rmoney that God told him that polygamy should again be legal in Utah,would Mitt Rmoney throw out his current belief that marriage is only between one man and one woman,or would he stand by it?

With or without  a Kennedy type pledge,only the release of of Mitt Rmoney's tax records would show where his true loyalties lie...something the citizens of The United States Of America should have every right to demand of the person they may or may not vote for for president.

Clint Eastwood At The Republican National Convention

Arguably the highlight of the Republican National Convention was the last evening's entertaining speech by Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood.But did you know this was not the first time Clint has been to the RNC?Go 44:30 into George H. Ryan Is Wrong On Rape

At around 1:03 on this video,Republican V.P. candidate,Paul Ryan,when asked about abortion for rape victims,states,‎"The method of conception does not change the definition of life".I understand that Paul Ryan is pro-life.I understand that these views match his Catholic faith,but to be so pro-life as to justify that a pregnancy is a positive result of a violent act against women is akin to pushing  women's rights back to the dark ages.

As a Christian male,I find this very offensive.

I have a favorite web sight called BibleGateway.com.On this sight I can go through almost every Biblical verse from nearly every English version Bible.Via their search engine,I can quickly find any verse and/or passage that I am searching for.I typed in the word 'abortion' and found:"Sorry, we didn’t find any results for your search." I did not find a single verse in any of the English language Bibles,except a variant reading of Job 3:16 in the Young Literal Translation(and that was not a definitively anti-abortion verse).I tried to find another word or term,via Google Search,that could be substituted in the Bibles for the word abortion,and I could find none.

I then typed in,RAPE.Some of the Bibles had many verses,but some did not use the word RAPE.Some,instead,use the word,DEFILED.

So I searched DEFILED.

Low and behold,there appeared many many verses about this.

The first item I came across was the defilement/rape of Dinah. 

Dinah was the daughter of Jacob/Israel.She was raped by Shechem a man from a neighboring people.

This offense against Dinah was so repugnant to the Israelites that they wiped out Shechem's whole male population,destroyed the village,and took the spoils!

After all this retribution for the rape of their sister and daughter,Mr. Ryan,do you really think that the Israelites would then say,"Sorry,Dinah,but rape is just another form of conception,"?

Your trouble,Mr. Ryan,is when you condone rapist's actions with your 'rape is just another form of conception' jabber,you are wrong.No matter how you try to justify and nullify it:rape is rape! It is a violent act against our mothers,wives and daughters!You devalue women by telling them that if they are attacked by a man and impregnated,that they should be thanking God for being so brutally violated.

WRONG!!!

Mr.Ryan,people are so outraged by this defilement,that even the Bible teaches us that whole peoples were to be wiped out because of it.

It is not a 'different kind of conception'!It is RAPE!

Why I Won't Vote Republican!!!

The problem with the large amount of mostly semi-anonymous political advertisements isn't the self serving lies and out of context truths made to appear like lies,but the pushing the envelope idea that nothing is to be believed.

It has long been noted that Carl Rove doesn't care if you believe in his attack style ads.He just wants to supplant your faith with doubt.

Put enough doubt into a formally held belief and it is easy to plant a new idea.

That's why this political cycle is so filled with totally false slogans and totally out of context sound bites that make you think someone like president Obama is for some negative when he is really against it.

A great example of this is that the President wants to take away the military's right to vote early in Ohio.AS I posted earlier on Face Book to someone whom voiced his hatred of Obama over this very stance-the idea is quite simply and out and out lie:

Bill,here is the truth:the Republicans tried to pass a law stopping all early voting except for military personnel .Their reasoning behind this was in the last election, most early voters voted Democratic. Obama opposed this bill because early voting was important to the elderly, the sick,those in college,and those that were disabled. The Republican bill was not passed, NOWHERE HAS THE MILITARY VOTE EVER BEEN THOUGHT OF BEING TAKEN AWAY! The trick in the telling, is in saying Obama opposed the bill...the bill that took early voting away from many many people BUT NOT THE MILITARY! Republican leaders are mis-leading the people they want to vote for them,not leading them! You, Bill,should be asking why are your leaders mis-leading you instead of being good leaders?

The fact that the Republican pulpits know this issue to be out and out false and still do nothing to dismiss it in itself is very telling.

It can-in fact must-be assumed that there is opposition to these falsehoods within the Republican party.This is not the average tit for tat bantering of most other political campaigns.This is not just misusing data to your benefit.This is a first:this is out and out knowingly totally 100% lying.

That no Republican has spoken against this evil practice can only mean a few different things.That the whole party wants Obama out at any cost can not be one of them.There is too much vocal complaining and outrage against President Obama's own old fashioned twisting of data ads for that idea to be sound.There are Republicans that recognize fairness.

It is more likely that the right is so in line with the top power mongers,that like new recruits in boot camp they are afraid to step out of line because the consequences would be too harsh.

This argument is more compelling to anyone that has watched any of the Republican primaries with any interest.Well thought of Republican elder statesmen lost their long held seats to young pups just because these elder state men dared to glance in the democrats direction:These elder-many many year Republican congressmen were deemed not Republican enough!

These elder state men dared not to ask,''How high?'' when told to jump by very powerful people within their own party.

This leads to one to ask,just who is more powerful than a United States congressman with a long held seat?

You just have to follow the $$$.Unlike the more eschewed and divided Democratic party{which many Democrats view as a good thing},the Republicans more and more are looking like puppets of the very rich and powerful few.

Step out of line and you get stepped on!

I don't know about you,but I prefer my government representatives to govern with a mind somewhat of their own.

Sure,there may appear to be more power when it is controlled by a very powerful few.But in our United States republic power is supposed to be controlled by the people for the of the people.

The government isn't here so much to make money as to provide a service for it's people!

How can we vote-why should we vote-for people or persons afraid to speak when they know something within their own party is wrong?!?

They fly their banners that say,'Don't tread on me!',and 'Live Free Or Die!' ,yet if they even breath wrong they are replaced!

I have to ask,Mitt,if I vote for you,how does this in any way mean you will represent me at all in any way?!?

I can't see  how it will.Maybe President's compassion for the poor(Obamacare) is his weakness.But I choose to vote for a man than a puppet!

Boy,You Got To Carry That Weight

I have always believed that The Bible is the living,breathing word of God."Nothing,"I exclaim,"Is etched in stone in The Bible(except,of course,the 10 commandments.";-).

What I mean by this is that as humyn kind grows the words in the good book continue to teach.Simply put,this means that the Bible continues to be a learning tool even with scripture that has seemingly become outdated.

The above verses are a good example of this Biblical learning curve.At first glance,this law would seemingly to make no sense.Those with little,no-or flawed- knowledge of ancient times could easily misinterpret  this piece of literature[in my opinion,an all too common modern (un)intentional Biblical practice,today].

In fact,this is a verse about fair business practices.When selling something by weight,use fair and balanced scales.Do not use heavy scales to sell less product.Don't use a lighter scale when taking some one's gold.BE FAIR IN YOUR BUSINESS DEALINGS!

In my belief,in this modern day & age,when a pound of coffee sells now for 11.5 oz,this verse is anything but  antiquated.

When 'fair and balanced' now stands for blatant propaganda:an unbalanced weight(!),my point about The Bible being the living,breathing word of God is practically made for me.

When corporations uses sleight of hand as a common business practice,this set of verses practically shouts out the words of God.

But are these verses just about commerce? 

The Catholic church uses the government as a crutch not to acknowledge a priest's misconduct,or even to reimburse the underage victims and give them their just due.The church,then,shouts that this self said same government is unjust because the church doesn't believe in giving reproductive rights to hired non-church members.Is Christ's church using different wights and measures?

And,what about us?Are we exempt from using balanced scales?Do we,for instance,set different standards for those we like then with those whom we oppose?Do we hold the Democrats to a higher or lower standard then the Republicans?Is it justified for us,but not for them?If something is alright for us to do,but not for them,does this mean we hold our opposition to higher standards then we do  for ourselves?

Heaven forbid!

See what happens when we use The Bible as the living,breathing word of God?We find out not just what to do,but,also,what we shouldn't.

Yes,of course this means studying the word.It also means contemplation,and,can I say prayer?

But,also,a fair measure means to be be fair with all people in all of your dealings.Tolerance;blind justice...for all peoples.

We could use more-not less- of this today.

The Bible not relevant?I don't think so.

Are Republicans Bullies?

One of the most important topics in The United States right now is the subject of bullying.It seems you can't turn to a newspaper,magazine,Tv or radio talk show without there being an awful clamour about the woes of bullying. Every one is concerned on just what can be done to stop this purge on American society.

Bullying is terrible.No one deserves to be bullied.

How do you stop it?Find the biggest bully on the block and punch him in the nose?No.

You look for the biggest bully around and you expose him.Topple the biggest bully and-perhaps-bullying will become less and less tolerated.Maybe,if we can limit the power of bullying,it's power will have much less of a punch.

Cut the head off and the fish dies.

I decided to look for the biggest bully.But what is bullying?Without knowing this exact type,how would I know whom to exactly go after?

I Googled,"Signs of Bullying", and checked the first two searches[ http://www.stopbullying.gov/at-risk/warning-signs/index.html#bullying ; http://www.education.com/reference/article/signs-a-child-bullies-others/ ;http://www.education.com/reference/article/Ref_Children_Who_Bully/?page=2].

I think I found what I needed.

Here are some signs that you are a bully:

• Get into physical or verbal fights
• Have friends who bully others
• Are increasingly aggressive
• Get sent to the principal’s office or to detention frequently
• Have unexplained extra money or new belongings
• Blame others for their problems
• Don’t accept responsibility for their actions
• Are competitive and worry about their reputation or popularity

Here are some traits of the bully:

• Average or above average self-esteem.
• Impulsive personalities.
• Lack of empathy.
• Difficulty conforming to rules.
• Positive attitudes toward violence.

Some bullies are quite popular, enjoying high status and esteem from their peers, and even teachers. These are called “Hidden bullies” - popular children who exhibit aggression (persistent arguing, fighting, getting in trouble).

And here are behavior issues associated to bullies:

• Get into frequent fights,
• Be injured in a fight,
• Vandalize property,
• Steal property,
• Drink alcohol,
• Smoke,
• Be truant from school,
• Drop out of school, and
• Carry a weapon.

After looking at the last one,I snickered,"Sounds like Congress,right?"

That's when it hit me:The Republican party is the Alpha Male of Bullying!

Oh,yeah...it was all in there all right!Heck,Bullying was practically the Republican hand book.They made an art of it.

The question I had to ask next was:If America is so deadset against the Bully,how can we tolerate the bully palpate of the Republican party?

We can't.At least,we shouldn't.The only true way for bullying to stop,is for the Republicans to start to show compassion and tolerance...for them to allow dissension in their racks.Stop bullying,now!Show respect.Give respect.

I ask you Republican party to lead instead of mis~leading.Be a force for good.Act like the good Americans you claim to be.What the walk.Talk the talk.

STOP BULLYING,NOW!!!

Mormons Mad At Mitt Romney

According to Hippocratic sources a large and again larger segment of Latter Day saints are turning against Mitt Romney for his heretical stance of being a master of his own planet 'before he earns it by dying first'!

"Sure,Mitt wears his temple garments,"one Mormon woman is reported as saying,"But it is not enough to just wear them.You have to wear them in your heart.Mitt is cheating.By becoming president of The United States of America he is basically becoming the ruler over the Earth.He's skipping a step.Most Latter Day Saints believe it wrong to attempt this while you are still alive.Mormons can only rule planets AFTER THEY DIE!He's Satan."

An elderly saint puts it this way,"The church is known for it's prophecy.This could be a rule changer.If we don't have to die before we are rewarded with our own planet,we might as well just sell people naming rights to stars.Besides,Earth isn't his to rule,now,is it?!?"

To be fair,The Mormon Church's official stance is that saints will probably not own their own planets.But to be even fairer still,LDS theology has planet owning after death as a doable Mormon fundamental belief.

"I'm not saying that I would want Mitt assassinated,"claimed a Mormon missionary in Missoula,"In fact,just the opposite.I hope Mitt lives long and prospers.But what would happen he died after he was swore in?Would he own two planets?It boggles the mind."

"It would be,in my opinion"said a teenage girl wearing a summer dress,"Like a leverage buyout....replacing a truly God like saint with only a normal man.We're talking a pharaoh vs. God scenario,dah."

Others see it another way,"If he can rule the world before becoming God,"says a Latter Day small businessman,"Imagine what he could do for the economy.I think these anti-Romney Mormons are morons."

The Hippocratic Party does not take a stance on this issue.

To many right wing Republicans the above Bible verses are blasphemy.They care not for the poor,nor are merciful or pure of heart.To them,Jesus is a reason to exclude people.To this I proclaim:

I am constantly amazed at the arrogance of the supposed Christian right as they use Christianity not to help the down trodden.Not to bless and forgive.Not to help.But to oppose the mercy of Jesus Christ.

They use abortion as a lightening rod to show whom is a heathen and whom is not.Call their opponents murderers.Yet,they themselves are willing to let people die because these said people for one reason or another don't meet the narrow standard that they themselves profess."Let them starve.";"The government is here to build roads,and maintain and army to defend us,not deliver universal health care.";"We need to feed these businesses because they are too big to fail."; Those welfare bums are living off my dime.I am sick of it.Let them starve."

It's as if they have never heard the words of The New Testament,but are blindly following the word of men whom choose mislead the flock of The Lord.

Truthfully tell me,is this how you perceive of the Republican party:

Compassionate.
Tolerant.
Inclusive.
Free,independent thinking.
For the health and well being of all Americans.
For liberty and justice for all.
Truthful.
For the government of the people,by the people ,for the people.

I didn't think so.This is definitely not how the Republican party is seen.

It proclaims Christianity but is anything but!

The Republican party has become nothing but the tool of the anti-Christian Big business/Wall Street agenda.Greed.Desire.Lust.Hate.Division.Prideful.Bigoted.Arrogance.Profit before truthful measures.

They use The Bible not to be Christian to their fellow Americans!As the Cleveland rock legend,Michael Stanley sang,"The Lord uses the good ones,and the bad ones use The Lord."

Repent,Republican Party!

Republicans-you must ask yourselves:If your leaders are so righteous...why do they mislead instead of lead?Why do they lie when they have the truth?Why do they use innuendo,hate and bigotry,when they can lead with honesty?
