The first thing back from Ash Cave the
boys ravaged our car snacks(even though we had a full day-pack of snacks).Next,we pitched camp. Two one man tents for the boys-Tyler was going to sleep under the stars-and Robyn and my two man...er...person tent.

We saw deer both ways from Athens. Once we got back,it was nice that even though we were in the wooded primitive camp sight, that we were also at the 'Top O' The Caves' camp grounds.Yes,it wasn't the rugged wooded backpacking camp sight, but with toilets, showers, game rooms, etc. we just had to ruff it:-)

This section of the BT is probably one of the most travelled parts of the whole trail. It is rea- sonably well maintained, though there are some fallen trees.
