I am not a hero

I never claimed to be one

just being there doesn't make you one

does it?

just surviving

how

does that make me a hero?

Does dying make me one?

or living with the scars

or the fears?

I am no hero

in my nightmares

or when I panic

seeing the death

in it's quickness

that lives forever

cuz'

it's the fear

that keeps me in the tree

holding on for dear life
