Tyler's Big Win

Thursday was a busy day for my family.Robyn was being a juror at the Marysville Art Show;Nikolas was putting together the brand new propane grill that we are going to give Robyn tomorrow for Mother's day(Ssssh,don't tell),and Adam was playing in his last ever J.V. baseball game

Meanwhile,with Robyn's parent's,I was going to the Logan County/Champagne County High school Awards ceremony.Tyler was just getting off work when we met him there.

Tyler told us he thought he was going to win a minor award for his,"Happy With Growing Old" drawing,but to our surprise,he won the second biggest honor of the night(The Grand Prize was the biggest award).Tyler won '1st Place' and not only got a Blue ribbon but the $100.00 1st prize award money!Needless to say,we were all overwhelmed.We knew his piece was great,but the 1st prize usually goes to a senior,and Tyler and his brothers are only juniors.
